A little about me!
Hello everyone!
Hope all is having a nice day, if not? BEST WISHES!
My name is Steven Wells
DIGGER318 is my online name and title!
I am a movie practician and movies are everything to me.
My dream job would be a director who can choose what films to make, and be able to bring my own ideas to the big screen. Like Christopher Nolan, his job is my dream job.
I was born in Hong Kong and has studied in the United Kingdom since year 8, I am happy I skipped year 7 as I didn't learn anything new till half way through year 9. I am not saying Hong Kong education is better, they just cram it down your throat a lot more. Childhood? How about 5+ pieces of homework everyday and then a Chinese and English dictation every week plus Maths testes every 2 weeks. Yes I hat a lot of time to play but then my mother would come home and shout at me because I had not started on my homework.
Creative writing back then? The Teacher I had for year 1, a true "Christian". I quote it because she hated me since day one, I thought Christians are supposed to be nice and love everyone. She was short and fat and mostly fake, and would mark my creative pieces. I wrote a character to be dirty and liked to eat food from the floor and she would mark me down, cross it out and make it clean. I am sure a lot of people have read works of Roald Dahl, GREAT stories and a lot of his characters were disgusting, but that is why a lot of kids loved his work! Only in years 5-6 did a male teacher called Mr. Mack support my writings but did tell me to tone it down a little... lol he is on my facebook wow!
One of the biggest reasons I use LEGO and other forms of stop motion is that it allows me to create the videos within a budget. I like to bring my ideas to the world and I cannot afford big budget set pieces and actors and special effects, so stop motion allows me to bring my ideas to you.
I love feedback and I love it when someone is entertained by my videos.
If you don't like what I do? Tell me why and how I can improve!
Apart from films and animation, photo editing and other digital art forms interest me as well.
Photography is also something I feel I am quite good at.
One of my BIGGEST inspirations for LEGO videos include:
http://www.leftfieldstudios.com for their great LEGO videos. and many more on brickfilms!
Other great people who inspire me to make movies include:
James and Mike from http://cinemassacre.com/
Also yatzee from zeropunctuation is great too
Blunty and his Bluntmation He made lego videos in the past but now is more of a technology reviewer.
I no longer see him as a good person anymore, not after him calling me a, and i quote "spamcunt with a shitty project and to go F myself... "
